Total incompetence

Called to ask if I could buy a particular ETF with Fidelity they checked with the “back office” and said yes I could. I transferred over $200,000 and tried to purchase the etf and it said I could not. I called and they said I cannot buy it at Fidelity! Unbelievable! Who would trust their money with these people? They hire a bunch of kids to answer the phone!
